At EGAD, we know what it’s like to be the Dungeon Master who carries the admin, the prep, the scheduling, and the emotional load of keeping a campaign alive. You deserve a space that supports you too. No more squeezing a whole party into someone’s tiny apartment, cancelling sessions because the host is away, or shouting over pub noise just to narrate a scene. We’re here to take some of that weight off your shoulders — offering a comfortable, fully equipped, neutral space where you can focus on storytelling, not logistics. We offer reasonable rates for near Melbourne city location, and our themed rooms can enhance the atmosphere of play.

Who Is EGAD For?

First‑time players and GM looking for an easy way to add something special to their game.  Seasoned adventurers looking for a consistent, high‑quality space to run campaigns or meet new party members. Community‑minded nerds who want a safe, inclusive, queer‑friendly environment to play, relax, and connect. You can keep your group to yourself, or you can jump into our discord and chat to other GM's solve problems, share a devilish plot without ruining the surprise for your players.

What's Included?

Private themed rooms designed for immersion, comfort, and long‑form play. High‑quality terrain, minis, and props available for use during your session. Session support from staff who understand TTRPGs, pacing, and player needs. Snacks and drinks to keep the party fuelled available for purchase at reception. Forgot something at home? Or don't want to carry so much stuff? We have dice, mini's, battle grids, stationary, official campaign books, official handbooks of the most popular games.

FAQ's

When are you open?

We are available for bookings 7 days a week. From 10am to 11pm. However, we only our doors upon a booking. Please book one of our rooms before arriving at EGAD.

How long can I make a booking for?

You can make a booking for as long as we are open. If you are going across times with different pricing. Please send an email to: info@egnd.com.au Often it is the case of booking for your first time slot and we will book the next time slot for you. We will confirm if that is the case, however as there may be bookings in the second window.

Do you do discounts for multiple bookings?

We do! We do this via our memberships offering. If you head to: https://www.egad.com.au/pricing-plans/list you can see our different membership options.

How much notice is needed before a booking?

Our system cuts off bookings two days prior. If you are needing to book the day before or day of, please email: info@egnd.com.au

Is the venue accessible?

The Dragon's Den in on ground level, but please note that the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. La Galleria and Adventure's Call is up one flight of stairs. The rooms have two modes of light. Bright, white light and low, yellow light. The rooms insulate sound well. But if there is a lot of noise coming from one group ( a shout for example) you will be able to hear it.

Can I bring food and drink?

Yes, you can. We do have snack and drink options available at reception.

What's the parking situation?

As we are near Lygon Street, there is lots of parking available. However, in busy periods however (Valentines day, for example), the spots can fill up and it is advised that you allow extra time to find a car park.
